Blunted for reenactment fights.
This viking sword represents a widely used form from the Viking Age, based on the Jan Petersen typology. This sword type first appeared at the beginning of the IXth century.
The blade is made from hardened 51CrV4 steel (approx. 50 HRC). The crossguard is forged from mild steel, while the grip features a beech wood core, covered with leather.
This is a fast and light sword, therefore it is ideal both for western and eastern style combats.
