Kenezlo is based on the find of Kenezlo (North Hungary) graves, the corssguard is the copy of the Bana (Hungary) finding. This form was widely spread in 9-10 century nomad cultures. I spendt several hours to create and achieve the most accurate construction of this blade. The blade is 51crv4 hardened steel (~50 HCR). The crossguard is made from mild steel, for the grip I use beech wood, coverd with leather. The pommel is inspired by the pear-shaped pommels widely used within the nomadic cultural sphere of the period, known in both plain iron forms and richly decorated examples made of precious metals.
This blade is one of my lightest and fastest, ideal both in western and eastern style combat, because it is light and strong.
